Today, 11 September, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Italian Republic, Stefano Ronca, took part in a lunch at Palazzo Orsini organised by the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Holy See, Antonio Zanardi Landi, in the presence of the Prefect for Culture and Education, Cardinal Tolentino de Mendonça, and the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano.
The lunch was also attended by Grand Commander Emanuel Rousseau, Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò, Receiver of the Common Treasure Fabrizio Colonna, and Secretary General Ambassador Giampaolo Cantini.
Among the topics of conversation was the enhancement of the Order of Malta’s vast artistic heritage, the object of special care by the Order’s government. On the occasion, the Receiver of the Common Treasure Fabrizio Colonna presented the publication “L’Arte nell’Ordine di Malta” (Art in the Order of Malta), which illustrates the Order’s main artistic and cultural sites in Italy.
Fra i temi di conversazione la valorizzazione del vasto patrimonio artistico dell’Ordine di Malta, oggetto di particolare cura da parte del Governo dell’Ordine. Con l’occasione il Ricevitore del Comun Tesoro Fabrizio Colonna ha presentato la pubblicazione “L’Arte nell’Ordine di Malta” che illustra i principali siti artistici e culturali dell’Ordine in Italia.
