Rhodes and of Malta
On 26 September 2023 the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Italian Republic, Stefano Ronca, took part in the Civil State Funeral of the President Emeritus of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. The Ambassador accompanied H.E. the Grand Chancellor of the Order of Malta, Riccardo PaternĂ², to the Chamber of Deputies where the commemoration ceremony took place.
On 12 September, a meeting took place between the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Italian Republic, Stefano Ronca, the Head of the Disarmament Office, Amb. Cons. Maurizio Antonini, and the Head of the Cyber Unit, Min. Plen. Laura Carpini.
Today, 11 September, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Italian Republic, Stefano Ronca, took part in a lunch at Palazzo Orsini organised by the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Holy See, Antonio Zanardi Landi, in the presence of the Prefect for Culture and Education, Cardinal Tolentino de Mendonça, and the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano.
The traditional reception in proximity of the Feast of St. John the Baptist was held on 19 June with the participation for the first time as Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta of H.M.E. Fra' John Dunlap and the Sovereign Council currently in charge.
The Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Italy Stefano Ronca received for a working lunch the President of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Commission of the Senate of the Italian Republic Senator Stefania Craxi.
The Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Order of Malta to Italy, Enrico Floridi, hosted the entire Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Order at the archaeological site of Otricoli, in the province of Terni.
The Ceremony for the joint philatelic issue of the Order of Malta and Italy on the occasion of the centenary of the Italian Air Force was held at Palazzo Piacentini.
The Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, was received by the Sovereign Order of Malta this morning at the Magistral Palace in Rome.
