On this day, Ambassador Emanuela D’Alessandro, Diplomatic Counsellor of the President of the Italian Republic, and Ambassador Pietro Sebastiani, Ambassador of Italy to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, were bestowed of one of the highest decorations of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
They were recognised for their commitment in enhancing the already good relations between the Order of Malta and the Italian Republic.
On Friday 15 December, the traditional end-of-year greetings exchange ceremony between the Diplomatic Corps and the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, was held at the Quirinale Palace.
